Southern Arizona NORML is Proud to Report Another Successful Highway Cleaning!!!

We are ecstatic to report that we had yet another successful highway cleaning of Campbell Avenue yesterday.  We met at 7:00 AM at the Trader Joe’s parking lot and were joined by early rising and enthusiastic volunteers who reveled in the chance to help clean our adopted highway.  Special thanks to Bill, Edwin, Scott and our newest volunteer Talin for making Saturday such a wonderful event!

Scott and Talin eagerly await cleaning Campbell Avenue.

We adopted Campbell Avenue from the Rillito River to Fort Lowell through Tucson Clean and Beautiful and have consistently cleaned it every month since that adoption.  We meet on the second Saturday of each month to clean our highway.  During the summer months, we meet at 7:00 AM.  When the weather cools, we’ll start meeting at 8:00 AM.  We have been able to get the job done in less than two hours in an effort to make the time commitment be reasonable for everyone involved.  We would love to have you join us for this incredible event!  In fact, our next cleaning will be on Saturday, September 12th at 7:00 AM.

Together…we give back!
