A Glorious Morning and Another Successful Highway Cleaning Today!

We are proud to announce that our highway cleaning today was a phenomenal success!  Unfortunately, the inclement weather last Saturday forced us to cancel our cleaning last week.  We rescheduled for today and the weather was fully cooperative. Instead of a mix of rain and snow, we were greeted by a warm, glorious and brilliant morning.  We would like to offer our sincere gratitude to Will, Phil, Bill, Greg and Ethan for joining us today to help clean our adopted highway of Campbell Avenue. We are grateful for our volunteers and they inspire us with their energy and enthusiasm.  If you are traveling on Campbell Avenue between the Rillito River and Fort Lowell, slow down and take a moment to revel in how the street sparkles and shines.

We adopted our highway of Campbell Avenue through Tucson Clean and Beautiful in an effort to give back to the community.  As an organization that seeks to reform marijuana laws, we believe that it is equally important to be able to assist in keeping our city beautiful.  Cleaning Campbell Avenue is a great way for our volunteers to enjoy themselves while providing a valuable service to Tucson.

We are always looking for volunteers to join us in this most worthy event.  We clean our adopted highway on the second Saturday of each month at 8:00 AM (that time will change to 7:00 AM in the summer months to beat the heat).  Our next cleaning is Saturday, April 10th, at 8:00 AM.  We hope that you can join us.  Please email mike@soaznorml.org or call 520-576-0871 for more information.
