A Bit of a Delay but Yet Another Successful Highway Cleaning!

While we normally clean our adopted highway on the second Saturday of each month, we had a bit of a delay for the month of December.  That delay resulted in us cleaning our adopted highway of Campbell Avenue yesterday afternoon.  It was a beautiful day to clean and we are incredibly appreciative of our volunteers Bill and Phil who enthusiastically joined us for this cleaning.

Southern Arizona NORML relies on our volunteers and supporters to carry out our mission to reform marijuana laws and to promote a positive image of our organization to the community.  Suffice it to say that we were inspired by both Bill and Phil and their formidable effort yesterday to make Campbell Avenue sparkle and shine.  We can confidently state that our stretch of Campbell Avenue is the cleanest stretch of highway in the Tucson area this week!  And…it couldn’t have been done without the efforts of our dedicated and wonderful volunteers.  We are honored to work with each of them.

If you would like to participate in this worthy event, we clean Campbell Avenue between the Rillito River and Fort Lowell on the second Saturday of each month.

Our next highway cleaning is scheduled for Saturday, January 9th at 8:00 AM.  Let’s celebrate the new year with this cleaning! We hope to see you there!  Please email us at mike@soaznorml.org or call 520-576-0871 if you have any questions.

Together…we give back!!!
